Volunteer for our May trail maintenance day on Saturday, May 17th. Volunteers will meet at the Obey Center at 8:30 a.m. and work on trail tread between the 267th Ave trailhead and the Obey Center.

Please contact Ann Hansen to register for this work day as soon as possible. We need to know how many are coming so that we know how many tools to bring. Also, we can contact those who register if there are any changes to the meeting place.

You do not need to have trail experience to volunteer on the trail. It's "learn on the job" kind of work. If you do not have a volunteer agreement with the National Park Service but you would like to join our volunteer family, here is the information to get your Volunteer Agreement.

Our May Chapter Meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19th, at the County Courthouse. We will meet in Meeting Room 5, which is located on the lower level. Park in the main parking lot and enter the building from the parking lot. Take the elevator or stairs down to the lower level. Exit to the right and then take a left at the main hallway. Room 5 is at the corner of the hallway.

We will present awards to members who were unable to attend and receive their awards at the Alliance Conference in Stevens Point in April. We will also update members on the current status of programming from the National Park Service, which was impacted by DOGE.
