Meet the new Director of Trail Operations
The new Director of Trail Operations is Chad DuChateau. He will be leading the Mobile Skills Crew program for the Ice Age Trail Alliance. Chad joins the Alliance from WisCorps, where he has worked for the past 9 years; most recently holding the title of Operations Manager. Wisconsin born and raised, Chad has extensive experience building trail and managing/training crews. For the Alliance, Chad will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for planning and developing the Trail. HIs first day at the Alliance office will be January 3rd.
Welcome to Chad. We look forward to working with him on our many projects.

- June 22 – 26, New Hope-Iola Ski Hill Segment, Waupaca and Portage County
- July 13 – 17, Rice Lake Preserve, Marathon County
- August 18 – 21, LaBudde Creek Segment, Sheboygan County
- September 14 – 18, Rib Lake Segment, Taylor County
- October 6 – 9, Lapham Peak Segment, Waukesha County
- October 20 – 22, Wildcard
We are on the list pending available funds at the Alliance for replacement of the 600’ Firth Lake boardwalk. If enough funds are raised, there is the possibility of becoming the Oct. 20-22 Wildcard. Cross your fingers!

Feb. 5 - Candlelight Ski and Snowshoe Event: This event is sponsored by the Cornell Area Betterment Association each year at Brunet Island State Park. Snowshoes and Skis are available for free for those who don’t have them.
Feb. Date to be announced: We are holding a snowshoe event at Camp Nawakwa for the Girl Scouts
