Late April 2017

Earth Day Trail Cleanup This Saturday

It’s shaping up to be a gorgeous day on Saturday of our Earth Day Trail Cleanup. If you’d like to lend a hand AND enjoy a beautiful day on the trail at no extra charge, we are providing a great opportunity!

Meet at 9 AM at the Ice Age Trail Crossing on Deer Fly Trail. This is 2.6 miles south of Hwy M. Bring a lunch and water, and dress for some muddy conditions and ticks. Bring gloves, and a friend who hasn’t been along before.

Help us map out our workday by registering. Please email the leader, Tony Schuster, or call (715) 723-6114.

Spring Outdoor Expo, Sunday, April 30

The annual spring edition of the Outdoor Adventure Expo will run from Friday through Sunday, April 28-30, in Minneapolis. Chippewa Moraine Chapter staffs the Ice Age Trail Alliance booth on Sunday, April 30.

We’d love to have you with us to answer questions about the trail.

As a bonus, you get to shop the sales at the adjacent Midwest Mountaineering store, as well as visit the show booths for the specials they offer. There is a parallel series of presentations and films as well. Admission is free, and food is available for purchase on site.

If you are interested in being a trail ambassador, call 715-933-0252 or email chapter@iatchippewa.org

Where to Find IATA and Chapter Event Information
