Celebrate National Trails Day - Saturday June 2
Don’t miss our annual National Trails Day celebration hike this Saturday, June 2.
The star attraction is the new Chippewa River Segment, which was constructed just last year with two Mobile Skills Crew projects and then touched up by our chapter volunteers at workdays this spring. It is a gorgeous segment, with views of the Chippewa River and lots of interesting terrain.
As an added bonus, we have refreshments, door prizes, and shuttles to the beginning of the hike. (We’ve even arranged for sanitary facilities.)
- Meet at the Ice Age Trailhead parking area, 2 miles north of Cornell on County Hwy CC, at 10 AM.
- Bring lunch if you like, but we’ll have snacks.
- Bring your own water bottle; we’ll have water to fill it.
After the initial hike, you may wish to hike further on the Firth Lake Segment.
